Description

PURPOSE

The purpose of this notice is to notify industry of the anticipated Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure, and Communications Services (EPICS) II timeline. This is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirement.

DESCRIPTION 

The objective of FAA’s EPICS II requirement is to obtain contractor support services that will support programs within the FAA’s Communications, Information, Network Programs (CINP), Data Communications (DataComm) program and the newly formed Telecommunications Integrated Services Organization (TISO).

The EPICS II requirement is intended to provide a broad range of contractor support for CINP, TISO and DataComm organizations listed as Functional Areas (FAs). The following FAs will be covered as part of EPICS II scope:

  • System Engineering
  • Program Management Support
  • In-Service Management and Support
  • Business and Financial Management
  • Information Systems Development and Support
  • Studies, Analyses, and Evaluations
  • Administrative Support

TIMELINE

The Draft Screening Information Request (DSIR) QA responses was released to industry on Monday, November 25, 2024, on SAM.gov. Search 693KA8-24-DSIR-EPICSII-01 for more details.
