Description

This is a sources sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item:

NOMENCLATURE: CH-47 Engine, Aircraft, Turbine

Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-458-5361

Input/Output P/N: 2-001-020-39

ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 12 – Maximum 408 each

Maximum of 408 each includes quantity of 340 each US and a quantity of 68 each Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336412 and the size standard is 1,500 employees.

Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point of Contracts (POCs) to include name, position, office, and mobile telephone numbers and email address.

The Engine, Aircraft, Turbine is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must be overhauled by approved sources. The only approved sources are Honeywell International, Inc., (CAGE 99193) and Columbia Helicopters (CAGE 7W206). Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) DMWR-1-2840-265&P is available for this effort.

Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by following the procedures outlined at the following website:
