Instrument & supplies-NASA UACO-funded Ticosonde pro San Pedro (San Jose), Costa Rica launch

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for 12 EnSci-ECC ozonesonde instruments, 12 EnSci-ECC ozonesonde instruments strung to fly with CFH instrument, 24 1200 g weather balloons, 24 iMet 4 Radiosondes, 24 Meteorological Parachutes, 12 launch reels, and 12 heavy payload launch reels. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to JH ACQUISITION, LLC. 1325 W 121ST AVE Westminster, Colorado 80234-2078 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that JH ACQUISITION, LLC. is the sole provider of 12 EnSci-ECC ozonesonde instruments, 12 EnSci-ECC ozonesonde instruments strung to fly with CFH instrument, 24 1200 g weather balloons, 24 iMet 4 Radiosondes, 24 Meteorological Parachutes, 12 launch reels, and 12 heavy payload launch reels.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.  Performance will be located at NASA/ Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 9:00 am Central Standard Time on June 30, 2023. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
