Description

Task 1-2 of this work consists of abatement, removal, and documentation of proper disposal of asbestos containing material in Horsethief Cabin roof located in Horsethief Basin Recreation Area, Bradshaw Ranger District, Prescott National Forest. Task 3 of this work consists of replacing the asphalt shingle roof with concealed fastener metal roofing panels and associated trim components, including facia coverings, and gutter system at specified locations. Please see metal roofing specifications.

Unless otherwise specified in the specifications, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for activities associated with (1) abatement (2) removal and (3) disposal of asbestos containing material (ACM) and (4) new roofing materials. The contractor is also responsible for complying with all National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) regulations including required notifications and permits.
