This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Getinge USA., 45 Barbour Pond Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470 will furnish all necessary labor, travel, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and all incidentals (including emergencies) required to complete on-site full service planned maintenance and corrective maintenance (repair) of the Getinge USA Equipment in use by Sterile Processing Services. The equipment is critical for sterile processing of instruments, tools and accessories for continuous patient care. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210, and the FSC/PSC is J065. This action will result in a Firm Fixed contract with a base year plus two (2) option years for Maintenance and Repair on the Drager Ventilator Systems at the Department of Veterans Affairs St. Louis VAMC located at 915 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. Market research has determined that these services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED.
