THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes a PRE-SOLICITATION notice IAW FAR Subpart 5.2.

This PRE-SOLICITATION is for M6785424R8000.

On or about 21 February 2024, Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Training Systems intends to issue a solicitation for “Trackless Mobile Infantry Targets (TMIT)”. The solicitation will close on or about 1 April 2024 by 2:00 PM EST.

This solicitation will be a Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR Subpart 6.203.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The scope of this requirement includes but is not limited to, the following:

•  Supporting Marine Corps training with TMITs capable of moving on a training range within established geographic boundaries to ensure safety, and to present shooters with realistic, moving threats on live-fire ranges and training areas used by the Marine Corps.

•  Providing TMIT system operations and pre and post exercise support for Marine Corps training.

•  Providing data to training audiences for After Action Reviews (AARs).

•  Creating (new) or modifying (existing) TMIT training scenarios.

•  Developing TMIT training concepts.

•  Supporting live-fire and non-live fire training events with TMITs so that military personnel can evaluate the skills of individuals, leaders, teams, and units, and sustain operational readiness.

The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 611519 - Other Technical and Trade Schools, with a size standard of $21 Million.
