SIMUNITION HELMETS

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Procurement, Southern Region / Midstates Section, has a requirement for 2,400 Simunition Helmets for IRS Criminal Investigation in Washington, DC per the attached specifications.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued.

This requirement is 100% Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 423990. The small business size standard is 500 employees.  A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for this procurement.

Contractors must be actively registered on System for Award Management (SAM) by 09/21/2023 and maintain an active record status in order to be eligible to receive award of a resultant contract. Contractors not registered in SAM at the time quotes are submitted risk their submissions being rejected. If you are not currently registered in SAM, please visit www.sam.gov and register today.

Please submit one Open Market Quote. Submission of multiple quotes will deem offeror non-responsive and result in elimination. Elaborate brochures, presentations, artwork, expensive paper bindings and expensive visual aids are not solicited.
