Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of two (2) of each of the following: APU engine starter drain tube (PN: AGE70083).
The anticipated award will be made to UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (UTC): 52661, which is the OEM for the above articles of Support Equipment and hold the proprietary data and drawing rights. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fourteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
