NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The NCO19 has a requirement to fulfill for Rocky Mountain Regional (RMR) VAMC, Chief of Nephrology Office regarding all material, supplies [except replacement Fluids (albumin or plasma)], equipment, personnel, and qualified supervision that are required to provide routine and urgent On-Site Therapeutic Apheresis services. The treatments are not performed by the VA ward staff and require expertise and equipment not available on-site. The vendor must meet and in full compliance with current FDA and American Association of Blood Banks regulatory compliance standards. Vendor will maintain full training and competency documents on their staff performing apheresis.Â
The NAICS Code is 621991, Blood and Organ Banks/$35 Million size standard; PSC Q523, Medical- Surgery. The period of performance is five years, base period with four one-year option, firm-fixed price contract. Market research tools/publication efforts include RFI and GSA e-Buy.
