Description
This is a notice of intent that the SOF/RW - ROTARY WING anticipates issuing a Synopsis and Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of technical support to the Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (SOF/PR) and Rotary Wing System Program Office (RW/SPO) for executing Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) and leveraging the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) for fleet management. The CBM+ technical support includes field support, engineering analysis, program improvements and maturation, implementation and sustainment of relational databases, technical expertise, software tools, ground station hardware and software sustainment, onboard system software sustainment, failure assessments, and safety investigation support. The System Program Office (SPO) manages HH-60G, HH-60W, MH-139A, TH-1H, and UH-1N weapon systems.
The effort will result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and the will include a one year basic ordering period year and four one-year ordering periods. This contract will support the United States Air Force (USAF). The Performance Based Work statement (PWS) specifies the Government’s minimum, mandatory performance requirements. Unit of issue for Engineering Services will be 1 Lot (LO). This effort will be a small business set aside.
Draft RFP and RFP attachment documents will be posted for review and comments before the Government issues the official solicitation. All draft documents will be identified as “Draft” documents and will NOT serve as the official solicitation for this effort.
