Description

Description of Work:  Construction

The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona,

has a requirement for user-created road obliteration on the Springerville Ranger

District, Apache County, Arizona. Work includes scarifying, ripping, and blending back

into landscape using debris, rocks, etc. Treated road shall approximate original

ground contours. Work shall take place on FS identified roads north of Escudilla Mtn,

near Pratt Lake. Miles of road to be treated is approximately 9.85 miles.

Location:

From Springerville, travel south from the intersection of US-60 and US-180/191 approximately 11.2 miles to AP-2116. Turn left on AP -2116 and continue for approx. 7 miles to the general area. Roads to be obliterated will be identified by FS personnel prior to work and a geo-referenced map shall be provided to the contractor.

Basis for Award:

The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFP Best Value-Tradeoffs:  Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process.

This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000.

Davis-Bacon wages apply.

Payment bonds are required.
