Description
The Library of Congress requires contractor support to acquire ST Imaging ViewScan, Book2Net Public Kiosk, and Book2Net Spirit Advance scanners and accompanying Tocosa software for public use in the Library's reading rooms. The scanners will be used by researchers in the reading rooms and by Library staff to meet congressional needs and off site inquiries.
In addition, the Library requires contractor support to provide maintenance to current and newly acquired reading room equipment. The Library of Congress currently has 97 microfilm readers/scanners that are located within three (3) buildings on the Capital Hill Complex. The current inventory consist of the following makes/models: Book2Net, ST View Scan, Scan Pro, Minolta and Cannon.
