Post Defense Language Proficiency Training (DLPT)

This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207.

The Mission Installation Contracting Command – Fort Leavenworth, KS intends to issue an RFP in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined FAR Part 13, for the procurement of a Requirements (FAR 52.216-21) contract for students who require End of Training (EOT) Enhancement courses in the form of resident face-to-face classroom instructional services for military DoD linguists at the Presidio of Monterey, California.

Overall Scope: EOT Enhancement courses are designed for students of the DLIFLC Undergraduate Education (UGE) basic level courses whose DLPT scores have not reached the proficiency level of 2+ in the listening and/or reading skill and/or a 1+ level in the speaking skill. in support of the Defense Language Institutes Foreign Language Center mission.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 611630 (Language Schools). The small business size standard is $20.5 million average annual revenue for the previous five years. This requirement will be procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in FAR Part 13. The government will award to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offeror.
