Description
The Government needs laboratory equipment maintenance services for the Tecan Fluent robot in Atlanta, GA, which is not currently covered by a service maintenance agreement.
This equipment includes the following hardware:
- 8 channel flexible channel arm (FCA)
- MCA 96/384
- plate gripper, extended length (RGA)
- 2 hydrospeed washers (1-96 head and 1-384 head)
- 9x thermoshakers (H+P Variomag magnetic shaker set)
- keyence barcode reader
- Fluent Control software
The Contractor shall perform the following tasks.
Contractor shall perform one scheduled Preventive Maintenance visit per year. The PM visit shall include,
- cleaning and greasing the equipment;
- replacing wear & tear parts (these typically include, but are not limited to, valves, syringes, tips, tip assemblies, and tubing)
- adjustments; and
- instrument specific tests as outlined in the service manual.
Contractor shall prepare a service report for each PM visit annually. Preventive maintenance services on multi-instrument agreements shall be performed during the same visit. The service report shall contain maintenance performed, list of any parts replaced and reasoning, and any recommendations for service or repairs that are not provided under this contract. The service report can be submitted electronically to the laboratory point of contact.
Contractor shall perform on-site repair in case of instrument failure including,
- function check & error analysis;
- calibrations & adjustments; and
- spare parts (OEM only, as required);
Contractor shall prepare a service report for each on-site repair visit.
Contractor shall perform annual recalibration of the Government’s QC tools (QC Pac or Multicheck). Annual recalibration shall include the calibration certificate and must be NIST traceable.
Contractor shall perform update installations to be completed at the time of scheduled preventive maintenance visits; as released for use on the instrument and at the discretion of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); are required to be installed on the instrument to maintain reliability, usability and/or safety. The Government requires software upgrades that are from the OEM.
Contractor shall perform all essential hardware, firmware, and/or software updates.
The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price contract. All travel costs and labor estimates shall be included in Offeror’s quotation.
