Replace Staircase Area Primary Generator, OLYM

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 (effective 6/2/23). It is the contractor's/vendor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations, numbered as 140P8323Q0084. The NAICS code is 335312, Motor and Generator Manufacturing, with an associated small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single contractor/vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. Basis for award is best value decision including evaluation factors of price, product information, and past performance. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility.

DESCRIPTION: Supply, deliver and install a diesel prime generator, diesel fuel tank, battery storage vault and inverter to be used for the primary electrical power system at the Staircase Rapids area of Olympic National Park (OLYM). OLYM will provide the concrete pad for the diesel fuel tank next to the existing generator building. The contractor is to: Install the prime generator inside the existing generator building; Install a battery storage vault and invertor inside the generator building to power the local grid during the evening; Build all necessary fuel and electrical connections between generator, battery, inverter, and fuel tank for generator system to function and tie into Staircase grid; and Provide one day of training and familiarization to park staff.

DELIVERY DAYS AND HOURS: Delivery days and hours. Delivery shall be performed between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. No weekend or Federal Holiday delivery will be allowed without prior approval. Olympic National Park does not have a loading dock at the delivery location. Contact Keith Robinson to arrange delivery at least 72 hours prior to delivery.

DELIVERY LEAD TIME: Government's anticipated delivery lead time is 60 to 120 days ARO. Delivery lead time shall be stated in quote.

WARRANTY: Warranty: Government preference is a minimum 12-month full replacement period and limited 24 months pro-rated warranty. Warranty period(s) shall be stated in quote.
