Description

The goal for this project is to repair the Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) Systems in two hangars at Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona. The project installs and commissions new PCA units in existing hangars. Interested respondents must be able to:

  • Provide standard commercial (cataloged) units that have all of the following features to meet design requirements:
  • Nominal 35-ton cooling capacity, with actual discharge meeting specification air in ambient conditions at or exceeding 111 degrees F dry bulb temperature (see table below for specification air requirements).
  • Minimum 1000 lb/hr purge rate at specification air conditions.
  • Up-blast vertical discharge condenser fans.
  • A pre-cooler upstream of the blower to cool bearings in high ambient temperatures.
  • Provide units with a dual refrigeration circuit system.
