PBS 4100 VIBRATION ANALYZER

The 97th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Altus, OK 73523 has a need for the tools necessary to discover and prevent the discrepancies that are keeping the aircraft from meeting the mission standard. The tools include, Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) with 2 tachometer inputs, 4 vibration inputs and internal computer with color touchscreen display. Also includes waterproof, ruggedized portable external computer with color touch screen display, operation and maintenance manual and shipping/storage case, Boeing Front AVM Accessory Kit for Early and Next Gen Boeing Aircraft, 41 CA - 2-Channel Charge Amplifier, rugged model, Cable Assy, Engine Jumper-Charger AMP, Cable Assy, Fan Pickup Jumper, 5.5M Long, Cable Assy, LPT Pickup Jumper, N1 Breakout Cable (PW4000 Only), Cable Assy, PBS Jumper (Transition from Engine interface to data acquisition unit), and Case Printer/Shipping Storage, Large Size for Printer and Harnesses.

The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to MTI Instruments (CAGE: 97W70). Any other interested parties may e-mail derek.metzger@us.af.mil to explain their capabilities to fulfil the requirement.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
