Description
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a firm fixed price sole source award to Mitel Distributing Corp. The Office of Operation Support, Laboratory Scientific Services Directorate San Juan Laboratory (SJ LAB) needs to calibrate eight (8) laboratory balances to comply with the ISO 17025 requirements established by our accrediting body (ANAB). The period of performance will be 30 days after receipt of order.
All of our laboratory balances were manufactured by Mettler Toledo. As per the manufacturers instructions, Mitel is the only authorized dealer that can provide services in Puerto Rico. Analytical balances are extremely sensitive equipment and shall be calibrated in the precise location that will be used in order to guarantee the accuracy and precision of the readings. Since our laboratory is ISO accredited, we are also requiring that the services provider shall be accredited as a calibration laboratory under ISO 17025, so we can be in compliance with our accreditation body.
If any contractors feel they can meet the requirements please contact the contracting officer by email at Michael.A.Hall@cbp.dhs.gov by the response date and time listed with this notice. You must submit a capabilities statement displaying your ability to meet the requirements.
