General Notice to Industry Regarding PACTS II Extension and PACTS III Decision

Dear Industry Partners,

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recognizes the sacrifices made by veterans in service to the United States and has made it a priority to provide opportunities to service-disabled veteran small businesses to support the many missions of the Department.  Service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) create jobs, grow the economy, develop innovative solutions, and add to the needed diversity and equity in acquisition.

DHS is pleased to announce that it intends to pursue the third generation of the Program Management, Administrative, Operations (Clerical), and Technical Services (PACTS) department-wide contract vehicle, PACTS III, which will continue to provide prime award opportunities to the SDVOSB community through a 100% set aside, multiple-award contract. We expect to have an ongoing dialogue with you, our industry partners, as we work to finalize the scope and structure of the upcoming procurement.

DHS will extend the PACTS II contracts to accommodate sufficient time for the development of and transition to PACTS III. The PACTS II vendors will be contacted by PACTS II Contracting Officer in the coming weeks about the extension. Please continue to monitor www.sam.gov for PACTS updates.
