Description
The Contractor shall provide equipment, training and expertise in accordance with DHS EMS
requirements. In addition, EMS HQ requires academic and clinical expertise designed to
support the Medical Operations Directorate EMS Program as well as other DHS Component
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Programs, with the overall goal to enhance the quality of
equipment familiarity, emergency medical care, training and operational medical support in
the pre-hospital setting. Requirements include but are not limited to delivery of continuing
medical education meeting the requirements of the various First Responder certification
levels, as well as adhering to current EMS industry standards and best medical practices.
