Synopsis/Solicitation Combo


INTRODUCTION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04, effective 30 January 2022. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, with an associated size standard of $16.5 million annually.

SPECIFICATION

The U.S. Geological Survey, Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center, requires the services of a researcher to process, scan, and analyze sediment cores stored in a cold room in the USGS Santa Cruz office. A single core may consist of one or more individual segments. Please see attached document(s) for a detailed description and solicitation provisions/clauses.

SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS

Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at nlushenko@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 08 March 2022 at 1700 Eastern Time.
