Contract Opportunity: Repair of the Aileron Servo Assembly applicable to the C-5 Aircraft

The United States Air Force (USAF) has a requirement for depot-level repair for C-5 Aircraft mechanical components within Federal Stock Class 4710.
Synopsis for this requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538)
Synopsis is for issuance of a Request for Proposal FA8538-22-R-0013 for repair services, applicable to C-5 mechanical components for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) in support of the C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft. This effort is to be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type 5 year contract, consisting of a one year Basic Ordering Period and four (4) one year Ordering Periods.
NSNs are as follows:
- 4710-00-402-8929 NOUN: Aileron Servo Assembly, metallic tube and fitting
- 4710-00-402-8930 NOUN: Aileron Servo Assembly, metallic tube and fitting
This acquisition will be FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The GOVERNMENT OWNS A FULL AND COMPLETE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE.
Interested parties SHALL be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and SHALL submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages.
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP).
More information will be provided via the SAM.gov posting at the release of the RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 07 June 2022.
