Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a non-competitive basis to Waygate Technologies USA, LP (CAGE 052B7) for a quantity three (3) Defect Measurement Video Borescope, 6mm, P/N: XLGOB6120M-N, NSN: 6650-01-583-8302. The Defect Measurement Video Borescope, 6mm provides the means required to inspect, analyze, and record data for defects found on the internal surface areas of aircraft engine/airframe. This is a Foreign Military Sales Procurement in support of the E2D Japan Air Self-Defense Force Program.
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice, is solely in the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
