Peculiar Support Equipment to perform maintenance on KC-130J/KC130J Aircraft

PURSUANT TO FAR 15.201(e) - THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ seeks to identify potential sources for the production and delivery of HOIST FITTING ASSEMBLY,PROPELLER GEARBOX, NSN: 3950014546591, PN: 3404002-1, TOOL,ENGINE MOUNT REMOVAL, NSN: 5120014555801, PN: 3403247-1, ADAPTER ASSY,FUEL-3600 GAL.FUSELAGE TANK, NSN: 4920011629290, PN: 3402417-85, EXTRACTOR SET, REFUELING HOSE NSN: 5120011635373, PN: 3401391-69, DOLLY ASSEMBLY, APU NSN: 1730014708714, PN: 3401207-7, and BRIDDLE ASSY, AFT NSN: 4010003472202, PN: 402537-9 in support of the KC-130J Program. Respondents to this RFI should provide the following:

• Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above
• Identification of business size, specifically small business size status

Interested companies are requested to provide information on products/services similar in scope and effort. No Government-Furnished Information will be provided in conjunction with this RFI. The Government does not own technical data rights, testing or calibration procedures. Respondents to this RFI may provide catalogs, drawings/illustrations, technical manuals, training descriptions/materials, warranty information, test documentation, brochures and/or any other documentation that describes their capability to design, develop, manufacture, and support an effort of the type described herein.

In addition, it is requested that respondents identify Government and/or commercial customers to whom same or similar equipment and have been delivered. Provide customer points of contact, including a telephone number, e-mail address/web site, quantities sold along with dates sold, and a description of the unit(s).

This RFI is issued for the purpose of determining market interest, feasibility, and capability of sources and does not constitute a request for proposal. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Information herein is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding upon the Government. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement.
