Replace Two (2) HVAC Units in Guard House - Memphis ARTCC

AMENDMENT 0002 Issued to add/clarify language in the Specifications; hereby incorporated into the Statement of Work. 

AMENDMENT 0001 Issued to provide Question and Answer. 

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), College Park Regional Office, Enroute Construction, has a new construction effort for the removal of existing and replacement of two (2) new split-system HVAC systems including but not limited to furnaces, evaporator coils, condensing units and thermostats in the Guard House at the Memphis (ZME) Air Route Traffic Control Center {ARTCC} in Memphis, TN.

This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 238220, size standard of $19 million. 

The Request for Offer (RFO), including HVAC Specifications including Drawings and DOL Wage Rates, are attached to this Announcement. All documents are available in .pdf format and may be viewed with the applicable version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Professional.

SITE VISIT: A site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 9:00 am Central Time.  Due to security requirements all attendees must have a valid photo ID (i.e. state driver’s license) to gain access to the site.  All contractors must register with a list of attendees (First and Last Name; Company) by Friday, October 6, 2023, to Jacqueline.T.Jones@faa.gov.  Any attendee not on the official list will be denied access to the facility.

All questions regarding this RFO must be emailed to Jacqueline.T.Jones@faa.gov by 2:00pm EDT; Thursday, October 12th. An amendment with questions and answers will be posted on this site Monday, October 16th.

NOTE TO OFFERORS:  All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy.  All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website to be eligible for award of a contract.  Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted.

In addition, offerors are cautioned to read the RFO carefully and ensure all proposals conform to the requirements of Section L and M.
