Description

NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency is undertaking a sampling system component partial upgrade to Light Duty test cells HTF and CTF for measuring vehicle emissions and fuel economy at the National Vehicle and Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The purpose of this partial upgrade is to replace aged hardware to ensure that these test sites continue to conform to 1066 testing procedures for testing gasoline (up to 15% ethanol blends), diesel, and gaseous fueled (compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied propane gas (LPG) vehicles for Tier 3 emissions compliance while utilizing the latest state-of-the-art analytical measurement equipment.

Amendment 0001: The purpose of this administrative amendment is to reflect, in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, that this is a combined synopsis/ solicitation that enables distribution and posting of this solicitation to FedConnect/ SAM.gov.
