Sentinel F1 Radar Repair Parts

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple Part Numbers to support the Sentinel F1 Radar systems. A total of forty-seven (47) Part Numbers are targeted for this contract effort. The proposed sole source action will be issued to the Raytheon Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 7VKR9 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Due to the proprietary requirements imposed by the original equipment manufacturer, there are no other known sources. The excel document with all the Part Numbers is attached to this file.

The proposed requirement will be one time buy in calendar year 2023 period of performance. The existing contract is a firm fixed price (FFP) corporate Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The attached list of Part Numbers are the items that have been identified for this current action. The letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. If other Part Numbers are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.

These items are being added to contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, awarded to Raytheon Cage: 7VKR9 in accordance with the approved J&A. There are three (3) years remaining on this contract. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
