Description
A solicitation for the Inspection, Maintenance, and Minor Repairs of approximately 2,065 Cranes and Lifting Devices for a base year and two option years at Watervliet Arsenal (WVA), Watervliet, NY. Inspection includes approximately 315 bridge cranes, JIBS, JIB pedestals, gantry’s and H-Beam style cranes to include hoist motors located at various areas throughout WVA. Crane inspections will be spread out over a twelve month period. This procurement will include annual inspections and re-certifications of all material lifting devices, approximately 1,750 items; located throughout the Watervliet Arsenal’s 20 buildings housing lifting devices. Annual inspections will be conducted during the week of Watervliet Arsenal shutdown, monthly inspections and recertification of Material lifting devices will be conducted when personnel are on site to perform scheduled annual crane inspections and provided in designated staged areas. The solicitation will be issued on Monday, 7 November 2022; and estimated to close on Monday, 21 November 2022.
In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration must be active and include representations and certifications.
The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns, under NAICS 811310.
This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
