Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
This synopsis/solicitation 1305M2-22-Q-00247 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-03.
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS), has a requirement for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Laser Camera Module.
The delivery date is May 1, 2022. The delivery address is NOAA/NOS/Beaufort Lab, 101 Pivers Island Rd, Beaufort, NC 28516-9722.
Contract Type/Evaluation
The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Quote shall include all costs associated with the CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor’s quote. Technical criteria includes meeting or exceeding specifications, past experience, and delivery date.
This RFQ is provided for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, with a Size Standard of 1,250 employees.
Offeror Instructions
Each offeror must provide the following information with the quote:
- The Request for Quote (RFQ) number;
- The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror;
- Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration;
- Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and;
- Completed Past Experience Reference form. The contractor shall provide a maximum of three (3) references (contact info) who currently own and operate the proposed system.
- Technical specifications of unit.
- Ability to meet delivery date of May 1, 2022.
Contractors who do not respond to items 1 through 7 may be considered non-compliant with the requirements of the solicitation and no further consideration shall be given for award.
