Description
Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 15 intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) 36C25521R0004 for Referral Laboratory Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Award will be issued under an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract (IDC). The contractor shall be responsible for performing pre-analytic processing, analysis, and result interpretation for clinical and anatomical pathology specimens. This procurement was previously published under Sources Sought Notice 36C25519R0110. The VA anticipates issuing an RFP solicitation for this requirement on or about December 1, 2020 and posting to Contract Opportunities at beta.sam.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website. The solicitation will provide instructions to interested parties about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the Contract Opportunities website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) so they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contract shall be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. The NAICS Code is 621511 (Medical Laboratories) with a Small Business Size Standard of $35 Million. The classification code is Q301 Medical-Laboratory Testing.
