AMENDMENT 0002

This Amendment is issued to provide clarifications posted under Amendment 0001.  The Government has revised this requirement and the following is provided.

THE REQUIREMENT IS REVISED TO CHANGE FROM A ROOM BLOCK TO SPLIT ROOM BLOCK AND APPROXIMATE PARTICIPANTS FROM 350 TO 408.  THE NUMBER OF APPROXIMATE PARTICIPANTS IS CHANGED TO THE INITIAL REQUIREMENT.. LOCATION OF SPLIT ROOMS MUST BE WITHIN ONE BLOCK RADIUS. 

THE LOCATION RANGE IS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE DOWNTOWN, UPTOWN AND MIDTOWN, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.

 A REVISED SOW WITH THE CHANGES IS ATTACHED.

The conference and breakout rooms must be in one location.

AMENDMENT 0001 - CHANGES THE REQUIREMENT FROM 408 PEOPLE TO 350 FOR ROOM BLOCK AND PROVIDES RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS.. REFER TO ATTACHED REVISED DOCUMENTS.

This is a Request for quote (RFQ), solicitation number 12FPC223Q0005 and the acquisition procedures at FAR Part 13 are being utilized. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to the quote that meets the requirement in the attached SOW and is the lowest price.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-05 effective 10/25/2022.

This is a 100% Small Business set aside.  The applicable NAICS code is Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, which has a size standard of $35.0. For more information on size standards visit http://www.sba.gov/size. 

USDA Farm Services Agency (FSA) will carry out meetings for its employees spread across all regions of the United States in several series of classes and sessions.  It is required to obtain room block for lodging, conference and break out rooms and am/pm light refreshments and beverages as outlined in Attachment A of the SOW for approximately 408 participants.

Location of the Conference is in San Antonio, TX.  The hotel must be able to have lodging availability for approximately 408 participants the days of January 8-13, 2023.  Locations outside of the San Antonio, TX area will not be considered.
