Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center (FDC) in Houston, Texas intends to make awards for the provision of subsistence items. Please register under NAICS code 311999 and 311991 for this solicitation.  Vendors registered under Sector 42 – Wholesale Trade, will not be considered for award.  Each vendor is required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM); information can be obtained at www.sam.gov. FDC Houston will award to the responsible vendor(s) whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to utilize the Government purchase card for all transactions with a total order not exceeding $10,000.00.  The solicitation will be distributed solely through the SAM’s web site at https://beta.sam.gov/opp . Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, and service disabled veteran owned small businesses is encouraged. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.   Deliveries shall be made to 15431 W. Vantage Parkway, Suite 200, Houston, TX 70032. All deliveries must be scheduled prior to delivery. Deliveries made to 1200 Texas Avenue will not be accepted.
