Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires installation of a Simrad AP-70 Autopilot with AC 85 Computer for NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson in Kodiak, Alaska.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-22-00739 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04.

(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment and Repair and Maintenance; the small business size standard is $22M.

(v) Line items are as follows:

CLIN 1:  Installation

CLIN 2:  Underway Testing and Calibration

(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:  The vendor is to provide the items in CLIN 1 per the attached statement of work.

(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
