R405--FY23 Services - Bronx VAMC Veteran Experience Improvement Pilot Project

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to PROMETHEUS FEDERAL SERVICES 13846 REMBRANDT WAY CHANTILLY, VA 20151-3255 for consulting services in support of a pilot project to implement journey-based, human-centered design approach to improving the veteran experience during the patient intake process at the Bronx VA Medical Center located at 130 W Kingsbridge Rd, Bronx NY 10468 to be completed within 6 months of award. The project includes an investigative phase determine potential process changes, implementation of identified process changes and monitoring of process change results. This sole source award shall be done in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Sole Source Awards to Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Business Concerns, FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) and 15 U.S.C 657f Veterans Benefits Act of 2003. NAICS Code is 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) with a Small Business Size Standard of $24.5 million. The classification code is R408 Support- Professional: Program Management/support. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by June 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael Spivack@va.gov .
