Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and is being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items and Subpart 13.5-Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2022-04 dated 01/30/2022. Should the Government issue an order resulting from this RFQ, it will be in the form of a written offer to the supplier and shall require the supplier’s acceptance by notification to the Government, in writing, as defined at FAR 2.101. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, Virginia 23510, on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) is soliciting quotes for DHC-6-300 Corrosion Inspections and Related Maintenance.
The associated NAICS code is 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation and the associated PSC code is J015 - Maintenance/Repair/Rebuilding of Equipment- Aircraft and Airframe Structural Components for this procurement:
This is a total set-aside for small business. The small business size standard is $35 million.
The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price, single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with 60 month Ordering Period.
Attachment 2-Schedule of Items and Pricing shall be completed by the Contractor for pricing purposes.
Quotes in response to this solicitation shall be submitted electronically via email by 12:00 PM, EST on May 20, 2022 to the following Government representative: Alicha.Harris@noaa.gov. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure that any submission transmitted to the specified Government representative(s) is received prior to the due date specified. Vendors are highly encouraged to contact the Government representative(s) specified above prior to the solicitation’s stated time and date for receipt of offers to ensure the Government has received the submission. Quotes received after the date and time specified in this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
