Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.204 and 36.213-2. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Eastern Regional Research Center has a requirement for repairs to existing rafters and roof decking; replacement of the existing roof membrane and associated flashing and roof accessories; and the installation of penthouse metal wall panels.

SOLICITATION PERIOD: A request for proposal is scheduled to release on or about June 15, 2022.

Proposals will be due on or about July 14, 2022. ALL TIMES FOR THIS NOTICE AND SUBSEQUENT NOTICES ARE EASTERN STANDARD TIME.

SOLICITATION PROCEDURES: The proposed contract will be a competitive firm-fixed-price contract procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and part 36. It is contemplated that the Government will evaluate interested offerors using tradeoffs.

In accordance with FAR 19.203 (c) this requirement will be issued as a woman owned small business set-aside.

Disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million.

The anticipated period of performance will be 60 calendar days from Notice To Proceed for the base CLIN.

Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond will be required.
