Description
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFQ) will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA3016-24-Q-0125 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05 effective date 05/22/2024 and DFARS change notice 04/27/2023. This purchase is being solicited as 100% Small Business set-aside.
Description of Product: The 26K HelMAS (Airlift Modular Approach Shoring) is adjustable metal ramps for loading cargo on aircraft. All components are at least 36” wide and comply with concentrated load aircraft limitations, they are needed to facilitate rapid loading/unloading of military assets for Agile Combat Employment scenarios during future conflicts and real-world missions. It would decrease aircraft ground times and increase crew survivability in a combat environment. Please refer to Salient Characteristics Attachment 1.
