The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b). The associated NAICS code for this service is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $34 M and PSC Code J035 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Service and Trade Equipment. The identified supplier is Universal Care Corp (Unicare), the sole regional representative of the manufacturer's equipment for Metro Lionville. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance and repairs services to include labor, equipment, and materials for eleven (11) Metro Lionville LMD600 series medication carts. The alternate service contract will be for a base year and four (4) one-year options after negotiations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
