The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Alameda, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to HYDRALIFT AMCLYDE, INC. as the only sole source and has proprietary control over all parts listed below:

through the supply sources discussed herein:

Hydralift Amclyde; subsidiary of OEM, National Oilwell Varco (NOV)

QTY 1EA, 2920-01-660-2601 11466477-001 End Bell, Electrical Rotating Equipment

QTY 1EA, 2920-01-660-2607 11466469-001 End Frame, NON-Drive End Kit

Note/Disclaimer:

Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency

requirements, i.e. Unique capabilities, Limited number of sources, Proprietary data or

Brand Name Mandatory. National Oilwell Varco is the manufacturer and OEM of the bearing. NOV is the only

company that possesses both the required expertise and technical representatives to

provide parts. The TCTO Document states that we SHALL procure the parts from NOV.

This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC JAMES.  Vendor will provide the part/service stated in the scope of work.  NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, 24FEB22 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This will be awarded via Sole Source, to HYDRALIFT AMCLYDE, INC.and this posting id is for informational purposes only. However if you feel this is not a sole source, please reach out to the contact listed. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to HYDRALIFT AMCLYDE, INC.
