Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for quote. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to perform the quarterly cleaning and inspection of the 3 Vent Hoods with exhaust fans located in the Main Kitchen, Community Living Center, and Canteen, for the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville Florida. The proposed NAICS 561720 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $19.5 Million. The estimated period of performance (POP) one 12 month base period with four 12 month options. Objective: This is a non-personal services procurement to provide quarterly cleaning and inspection and cleaning services of Vent Hoods with exhaust fans for the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville Florida. The Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, material, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the services as outlined in the statement of work (SOW). See the DRAFT Statement (SOW) for additional details. Services will be required at the following locations: Malcom Randall VAMC Chapel, 1601 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608-1197 The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered. In order to be considered eligible for an SDVOSB or VOSB Set-aside, all interested SDVOSB/VOSB firms must confirm in their response to this Sources Sought Notice that they will meet all the following criteria: VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7003 - Eligibility VAAR Clause 852.219-10 SDVOSB Set-Aside or 852.219-11 VOSB Set-Aside The Limitations on Subcontracting in 13 CFR § 125.6 (applies to all SDVOSB/VOSB set-asides, regardless of dollar value) All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to phillip.james@va.gov.
