Description

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is looking to launch a gender specific “2X Technical Assistance (TA) Program”. This program aims to:

  • Increase the number of DFC’s gender-smart and sustainable investments; and/or
  • Enable existing DFC clients to improve their gender equity or the gender responsiveness of their operations.

DFC is conducting market research to seek and select interested consultants (“Consultant”) to help design and execute the 2X TA Program.

Requested Information – Responses to this RFI should be no more than three pages. In the response, please provide the following information:

  • Tasks and priority areas that you would be able and willing to address
  • Description of the proposed approach to delivering these services
  • Estimate of the price and cost of delivering these services (DFC currently estimates that its 2X Technical Assistance Program would provide a maximum amount of $10 million in funding over five years)
  • Ability to leverage local resources, partners, and sub-consultants
  • Brief examples of prior work in delivering gender-focused technical assistance
  • A relevant reference project to demonstrate capability
  • Registration, or willingness to register, for a SAM Unique Entity Identifier number and a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code.
