Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The solicitation number is W9132T24Q0011 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to conduct thermal testing by Means of a Hot Box Apparatus and ASTM C1224 Standard Test for thermal performance of building materials and envelope assemblies on an additively constructed wall specimen that is roughly 68 inches wide by 60 inches tall by no more than 15 inches in depth. The specimen weight will be approximately 3,500 lbs. and must be tested standing upright in the Hotbox Apparatus. The specimen will contain steel reinforcement, air gaps, and foam insulation in addition to concrete.
