Description
The Embassy of the United States in Beijing, China requires group health insurance services for employees and their dependents and group life/accidental death & dismemberment/partial & total disability insurance coverage for locally hired employees only, for the Embassy and four consulates in China.
The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Please review the RFP for the proposal due date and time.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The U.S. Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract.
The U.S. Government is planning a pre-quotation conference, and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission may deem the offeror's proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this solicitation.
