This notice being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions.  This is a notice of intent to include Brand specific requirements for the Unrestricted, Full and and Open Competition for Design and Construction of the Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing Barracks for 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas.  The statutory authority for the inclusion of brand specific requirements is FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District intends to include brand specific requirements in its Unrestricted Full-and-Open competition solicitation in support of the Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) Barracks for 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade on Fort Hood, Texas. 

BRAND NAME

The barracks shall have Best/Dormakaba series BASIS G model Key Card Access Card Systems.  The contractor will also ensure all of the necessary and updated versions of the software are installed by SAFLOK, Best/Dormakaba, or a Lenel Licensed software representative per the Standard Operating Procedure No. DPW-OMD-006 dated 1 August 2019.

All responsible sources may submit capability statement to Mr. Richard Feller at richard.d.feller@usace.army.mil.  The submission must be received by no later than 2:00 PM Central Time on November 15, 2022.  THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
