Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action - Strohman Enterprise, Inc. - Satellite Subscription Service Plan for Garmin inReach Explorer + Satellite Communication Devices

A determination not to compete this proposed contract was made pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a). Strohman Enterprise, Inc. is the only known business that can provide Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) Program, Garmin Web Portal access and Enterprise Level Support for existing devices owned by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s Fisheries Sampling Branch.  The Government intends to award a contract for a one year base period and two one year option periods.

This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for these item is 517410.
