Description

Solicitation for Waterfront Operations at Building V-47, Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia. NOTE #1: Please make sure all e-mail correspondence (RFIs, Notifications, etc.) goes to Ms. Stanay Harrell as the lead Contract Specialist at E-mail stanay.l.harrell.civ@us.navy.mil, and Procurement Contracting Officer Ms. Xenia Lira at caroline.x.lira.civ@us.navy.mil. NOTE #2: A site visit is currently scheduled for 20 April 2023. All parties interested in participating the site visit must express interest via E-mail to stanay.l.harrell.civ@us.navy.mil and caroline.x.lira.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 31 March 2023.The scope of work falls into two broad categories: General Program Requirements and Waterfront Operations. General Program Requirements include transition, program management, operations management of Building V-47, reporting, and safety compliance oversight. Waterfront Operations includes the operation of small watercraft, industrial maintenance and repair, and Research and Development, Test and Evaluation project support for NSWCCD and organizations associated with NSWCCD. Small watercraft assigned to NSWCCD Detachment Norfolk include boats, watercraft, and vessels ranging in length from 1 foot to 230 feet. All boats within the Navy stock system could potentially require work and require Contracting Officer Representative or Procuring Contracting Officer approval. The contractor shall accomplish the work on site at NSWCCD Detachment Norfolk?s facility in Norfolk, VA, at remote test sites, and on deployed small watercraft.
