Description
The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) on behalf of the National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for direct field maintenance support, depot maintenance and logistic support for the NWS’s NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) transmitter systems. This requirement also includes help desk and preventative maintenance support for the NWR National Maintenance at various geographic locations in the United States.
The Government anticipates awarding a single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time-and-Material (T&M) provisions based on a best value basis using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, procedures.
The period of performance of this procurement will be for sixty months.
This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Code System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210- Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the corresponding size standard is $34.0 Million. All responsible and fully responsive businesses may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as an IDIQ contract with FFP and T&M provisions.
Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing to brent.frost@noaa.gov. Questions should be received no later than 12:00 pm, noon, Eastern Time, on January 04, 2024.
The closing date and time for offers is January 18, 2024 at 12:00PM, noon, Eastern Time.
Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued.
Companies offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, prior to submission of proposals. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the SAM. NO award shall be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM.
