NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER

Contracting Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) will award a contract through the Portland District, 333 SW First Ave., Portland, OR 97204. This order will be used only by the Portland District.

Order Information: This will be for the Portland District use only. Award is anticipated to be a one-year purchase order.

Notice: In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) -- (b) Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). USACE NWP intends to award a single source firm fixed price purchase order to Turn-Key Technologies Inc., 2400 Main Street Ext Ste 11 12, Sayreville, NJ 08872-1474.

The purpose of this acquisition is for maintenance and support of The Dalles Access 3k Paging Terminal and Transmitter System as well as a yearly site visit for maintenance, 24/7 emergency support and unlimited phone support for the system. Contract also includes coverage on repair and maintenance for up to 250 pagers.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations, however, any challenges to this single source must be received in writing by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent equipment and service exists which would meet the Government's needs as stated herein. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Classification: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 – Other Computer Related Services with the associated size standard of $30M.
