THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO THE DUFOUR COLLABORATIVE FOR THE 2024 NATO SUMMIT DEFENSE MINISTERIAL DINNER EVENT.
The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to The Dufour Collaborative, 1901 N. Fort Myer Drive, Suite 502, Arlington, VA 22209, for the Defense Ministerial Dinner Event on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This requirement will provide event management, consulting services, and manage the technical production of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit Defense Ministerial Dinner Event. The supported task areas include: Venue Management; Vendor Selection & Management; Food & Beverage Management; Production Management; and Program Management.
The anticipated Period of Performance is May 3, 2024 through August 2, 2024 with no option periods.
This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” The contract will provide specialized expertise in diplomatic protocol, event planning, security arrangements, and culinary services for a July 10, 2024 event involving high-ranking officials and dignitaries from multiple nations. Furthermore, this requirement necessitates a vendor with a proven track record in executing high-profile government events with a deep understanding of security protocols and clearances. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561920 – Convention and Trade Show Organizers with a Small Business Size standard of $20 Million. The estimated amount for this procurement ranges from $550K to $750K.
