Bldg 82 HVAC Installation

Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division (NUWC) Keyport intends to issue a solicitation for the installation of one (1) new ductless split unit system with four (4) ceiling mounted indoor units in building 82.  Remove 2 existing portable air conditioners and return the windows to functional condition. This requirement is being issued as a synopsis for non-commercial services in accordance with FAR 13.1.   

The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price construction type contract.  The solicitation number for this requirement is N0025324Q0042.  Performance location will be at Keyport, WA and Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor, Silverdale, WA. The target award date is, August 12, 2024. The NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.  The Product Service Code is Z1AA Facilities & Construction - Facility Related Services.  This solicitation will be 100% set aside for small businesses.

The government estimate of the Magnitude of the requirement is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.

The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13 and 36, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors.  The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about June 13, 2024 with a 30-day response time.  The contracting office is not maintaining a bidders list.  Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the offer non-responsive and result in rejection.

An organized site visit is expected to be included in the solicitation.
